Over the next 7 days our system runs a 14-point automated check: your ID, ownership (HM Land Registry), address (Royal Mail PAF), photos (EXIF + reverse image), sanctions screen, and 9 more. No physical visit. Once every check passes, the listing goes live with the Verified gold badge and stays free forever. If you complete at least 7 of the 14 checks by day 7 you get one free extension; otherwise £25 extends you another 7 days. Nothing verified by day 15 → listing removed.

Is it really commission-free?
Yes. Whether you sell your home or let it out through ByHomeOwner, we do not take a percentage of your sale price or rental income. You keep the full amount your buyer or tenant pays.
Why are selling and letting separate now?
We ask different questions for a sale (asking price, condition) than for a rental (rent, deposit scheme, tenancy terms). Splitting the two into Sell your home and List a rental means shorter, more relevant forms for you.
Do I have to do everything myself?
Not at all. The listing wizard walks you through photos, details and pricing. If you want extra help, you can book a solicitor, professional photographer or independent valuer at clear fixed prices.
Which countries can I list in?
We're live in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and India, with five more markets launching by 2027. Pick your market in the registration form.
How do buyers and renters contact me?
Enquiries come directly to you through your ByHomeOwner inbox — whether they're offers on a sale or applications from prospective tenants. You stay in control of viewings, negotiations and who you deal with.
